air filter for 40mm fan

I'm trying to reduce the fumes form the abs extrusion, so I designed a filter that can be filled with active charcoal or whatever you like, to put on a 40mm fan with some M3 screws. To increase and concentrate the air flow I used this air blower http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:30721
