abs air filtration

i hacked together an ABS fume hood for my printer. i have a roll of plastic that only extrudes at 250º so i had to do something.

if i stick my face between the fan and the cupcake it STINKS of abs fumes. there is no smell whatsoever in the exhaust. if i run the printer for a while without the fan on the entire room stinks, after turning the fan on it cleared the whole room in about 15 min. I have been using it for a few days now, not sure how long the carbon in the filter will last.
