CRUSADES PILGRIMS

Out on the rimward front, where the sky never really brightens and artillery is basically weather, the Crusaders Pilgrims march through the sludge with relics strapped to their backs and trench shovels sharpened to a sacred edge. Wrapped in ragged greatcoats, covered in relics, rope-bindings, and those ritual cone-helms drilled with holy vents, these pilgrims march like they already made peace with the afterlife... and now they’re just trying to drag the rest of the battlefield there with them.
