A very detailed model of the French CNIM EFA amphobious pontoon vehicle. It is a french equivalent to the M3 amphibious rig. A vehicle would directly climb on top of the rig while it is submerged near the shore through a ramp, before being transported to the opposite side of the water obstacle. To provide propulsion, waterjets are used, while inflatable buoys all around the vehicle provide extra buoyancy.
