A highly detailed model of the US A5B Vigilante. The Naval fighter variant of the North American A5/A3J jet in service at the height of cold war. This is what you will call a proto-Tomcat, in service in the US navy before the legend came. Depicted here is the A5B, the multi-role one. Even though it was capable of fleet defense, it has another ace up it's sleeve, that is the ability for nuclear strike.
