These scatter models were sculpted by Nasos Maloudis for our War Beaches series. Debris is rarely created on purpose in real life, but these were made specifically to defend beaches during WW2, providing an obstacle to landing boats. Many are still visible on the beaches of the warring nations. While dangerous to the boats bringing men, many obstacles such as these were invaluable areas of safety. During amphibious operations, any cover was put to maximum use by the invading troops.
