I imagined the Kobold as a Player Character, a treasure hunter plundering an Aztec-esque ruin. I decided to paint it in an electric turquoise colour to contrast the natural colours of the base while the NMM brass brings focus and a sense of experience to the character as if this isn't his first day on the job. The base itself is hand sculpted and carved from Miliput.
