This is my first display plinth and, I very much enjoyed painting this miniature.
I felt inspired to place the Kobold in a dark underground scene where the sources of light were environmental, and I painted a background to depict the vast dungeon in the distance beyond.
My main sources of inspiration were Grymforge from Baldur's Gate 3, Pathfinder Kingmaker's Kobold Warren Art by JJcanvas for the glowing necklace on Kobold, and the amazing concept artwork of Wayne Reynolds!
