large ball joint

I had a comment from a Jasper1984 that the ball joints he printed were not holding in position well (on my earlier model an so I thought of making a socket that can have adjustable tension by using rubber bands.

was intended for a smaller scale.
this model is bigger and should be easier to mount.
the socket has indentation on the outside to hold a rubber band in place.
I found using a band tightened the hold quite a bit and a str
