Recently I took on the task of moving from my 1405 simple to the bigger and better 1404 printrbot plus. I have redesigned the Rod-ends as well as the bearing blocks to work better as printed parts.
I also created a version with an extended X-Carriage which can accommodate larger hotends (the standard one only really works with very skinny ones, not the E3D ones most people love).
