Upright Braces for Mendel

I'm trying to help remove some of the hardware needed to build a Mendel. I think this might be a start.

It's rough working copy of some braces and end caps. The end caps have holes that bolts can be used instead of long threaded rods. Still needs some locking edge to keep the braces in the end caps tightly.

It's 340mm from end to end. Each brace is 20mm wide with a 2.5mm thickness of each small brace arm. I tried to make all the brace arms square.
