Fire Brick Support Jig

Building a fireplace in the back yard. Needed a way to support the row of firebrick required under the mantel piece. Designed this ball-and-socket jig that attaches to a photography mono-pod. The ball end screws onto the 1/8" thread of the swivel head. Also printed two strips of 5mm "bar" that glued to the brick providing a uniform grout thickness (and put the bottom of all bricks on the level).
