I decided to go with a different design for this upgrade, you can look it up here:

The belt tensioner should be very easy to use, with a low profile M5 screw, a couple o nylock nuts and washers, mount the tensioner on the top of the frame and use any size toothless idler.
This a Z axis carriage for 2040 V-Slot.
To use them you will need M5 low profile screws
