Fountain water jet.

This is the water jet of a fountain frozen in time.

I scanned it with a Sense3d. . .just kidding, it's a Blender fluids model. Interestingly the inflow of water in the model starts out as a cube, but it quickly looses its symmetry. I've done other models which started as spheres and later evolved a square symmetry. Who knows what goes on under the hood of Blender's fluids engine, but it sure is awesome.
