Poorly Hacked NEMA 17 Stepper Upgrade for Mk5

Goal: combine Ruttmeister's NEMA 17 gear set with ScribbleJ's Wade's-Style Tensioner.

I tried the Nearly Universal Adaptor Plate (thing:6458), but ran into two problems: it didn't fit on my platform, and — when I printed it with half the stepper bracket removed — didn't provide enough spacing for thing:5795's 51-tooth and 14-tooth NEMA 17 gears. Similarly, Ruttmeister's official bracket wouldn't fit on my platform.
